You left home with hunger once again and wandered through the streets hoping for a Revolution. You’ve been seeking noises and fires, and music. You’ve been looking for the burning forest, for the draining seas that we are made of… But Castle-city was. Quiet, oblivious. Through the squares, through the old river and through the parks, you wandered, through the empty streets pursuing its people. Vanished places like a Sunday afternoon in downtown. This dry city didn’t keep any memory of the sun, In every place, every corner of your heart you ran out of breath, and couldn’t find any memory that was matching with that life. You got in mouth that unpleasant feeling of an empty melody. You remembered few words from that greek poet whose name you have forgotten.

« Είπες• «Θα πάγω σ’ άλλη γη, θα πάγω σ’ άλλη θάλασσα.
Μια πόλις άλλη θα βρεθεί καλλίτερη από αυτή.
Κάθε προσπάθεια μου μια καταδίκη είναι γραφτή•
κ’ είν’ η καρδιά μου — σαν νεκρός — θαμένη. »

They say that poetry is what gets lost in translation. Nonetheless you’ve been trying to see through the walls, to get the meanings through their lexicography, to grab love through the body of those you loved. To caress the idea of a societal humanist embodied by Ideals, flesh and political lyricism. But streets, they are both so empty and so full, you can either barely hear confused echoes or get headaches from saturated sounds. It’s just a solo symphony.
Last days you’ve been reading too much. You’ve been drinking dirty water. Noises and fires you thought you heard have gone.
And you’ve got again those terrible headaches. Lying images, they are flooding us.
